What a lot of babies for Tembisa mom!
MAMMA mia! What a lot of babies. Not quintuplets, sextuplets or octuplets but a record decuplets.
Proud Tembisa mother Gosiame Thamarea Sithole has broken the Guinness World Record for giving birth to the most babies at one go, toppling the crazy Californian Octomom, Nadya Suleman, who pleaded poverty in raising her octuplets and then spent the donations given through the generosity of the American public on plastic surgery because she wanted to look like Angelina Jolie.
The big question on everybody’s minds is how will Sithole cope with so many babies? Every mother knows how hard it is raise one child, but ten? What a handful the tiny tots will be! They pose a great challenge for the Tembisa mother.
According to estimates, it will cost around R17 000 a month to raise the decuplets.
The public and organisations have rallied to help the parents of the Tembisa ten out of their dilemma.
For the moment the media are barred from taking pictures of the babies. Born at 29 months, they are too tiny and still in a neo natal Intensive Care Unit. Excited South Africans cannot wait to see the Tembisa ten.
